The casino resort had a variety of dining facilities (including a deli, coffee shop, buffet, and a full service restaurant), but they did not offer the fine dining we were seeking. Finally, the pricing was very reasonable, being priced lower than the smaller rooms at surrounding properties. In addition, this was a non-smoking suite (which was a refreshing change from the rest of the property). In other words, everything you could want. The main room had a queen-size sleeper sofa, dinette area, a mini-kitchenette (mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker), a separate full bathroom, a gas fireplace, and its own TV. The master bathroom had tile throughout, a whirlpool bath, shower stall, and two separate sinks. The suite was very attractive, and featured a separate king-size master bedroom with a separate master bathroom. The suites are in a newer part of the hotel, in the North wing of the complex. It was a great choice and a great experience.
Since we had three adults traveling in our group, and we only would be staying for one night, we decided to try one of their new suites.
Last weekend we were visiting the beautiful Victorian port city of Manistee, Michigan, and we decided to stay at the Little River Casino Resort.
